Dr. Bilge Gökçe Açıcı was born in Adana in 1995. She graduated from Istanbul Okan University's Faculty of Dentistry in 2020. While continuing to work as a general dentist in private clinics, she began her doctoral studies in the Department of Periodontics at the same faculty in 2021 and continues her academic studies. She is a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists, the Turkish Dental Association, and the Turkish Periodontology Association. In 2019, she participated in the DİLAD Dental Laser Academy Association Symposium. In 2022, she participated in the Turkish Dental Association International Dental Congress with her study titled "Evaluation of Periodontal Status and Risk Factors in Patients Presenting to the Faculty of Dentistry Periodontology Clinic." That same year, she participated in the Turkish Periodontology Association International Scientific Congress with her study "Treatment of Gummy Smile Case with Crown Lengthening and Lip Reposition." In 2023, he participated in the International Scientific Congress of the Turkish Periodontology Association with his study titled "Assessment of the Knowledge and Proficiency Levels of Newly Graduated Dentists on the Use of Antimicrobial Agents in Periodontal Treatments." In 2023, he completed the "Applied Mucogingival Aesthetic Surgery Course." In 2024, he completed the "Implantology and Implant-Supported Prosthetics Course." His primary professional interests include initial periodontal treatments, flap surgeries, regenerative treatments, mucogingival surgeries, and laser applications. Since 2024, he has been working in the Ümraniye and Pendik branches of our hospital.
