How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Treatment time depends on your teeth and the severity of your orthodontic issue. Mild cases may take a few months, while moderate-to-advanced cases can take 12-18 months. Our orthodontist will give you a personalised timeline at your assessment.

Does Invisalign hurt?

Invisalign is generally more comfortable than traditional braces. You may feel mild pressure for a few days when switching to a new aligner — this is a normal sign that your teeth are moving and it passes quickly.

How many hours a day should I wear the aligners?

For the best results aligners should be worn 20-22 hours a day. You only remove them when eating, drinking (except water) and brushing your teeth.

Can I eat while wearing Invisalign?

Yes. Simply remove the aligners and eat whatever you like. There are none of the hard/sticky food restrictions that come with traditional braces. We recommend brushing before putting the aligners back in.
